What’s it take a feller to make it to the top of Entertainment Weekly’s Top 20 Hero list?Harry Potter fell into the fourth spot on the list even though his spectacled face graces the cover of the magazine. ur Harry lost out to some guys named James Bond (top spot) and Indiana Jones. Superman who may not even really exist takes the third spot. The magazine does give Harry some credit mentioning “obliterating Voldemort” as his most heroic move. But he loses points for his “Biggest Weakness: misses his mommy and daddy.

Library’s ‘Harry Potter Club’ reviewing before next movie release

Snacks will be provided. Local residents who are getting ready for the movie release of “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” but are a little hazy on what has already happened can join the Harry Potter Club at the library us each month leading up to the new movie to discuss a book and watch the movie adaptation. The group will meet this Saturday at 10:30 a. and will be discussing and watching “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” (rated PG). These programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Lakeville Public Library.

It is expected to start filming in August. And while the film which has now been given the title Robin Hood is a revisionist take on the old classic the countryside featured in the film will actually be the area around Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire. The revelation follows news that Warner Brothers the company behind the Harry Potter films plans to film the latest segment of the wizard saga in the coastal area. And now it seems Scott’s crew has also been captivated by the region’s beauty. The National Park Authority is still in discussions with Universal Pictures the company behind the Robin Hood film and it is thought that 600 people will be involved in the filming plus 100 horses and numerous extras. Hosting the two crews has been welcomed as a big coup for the county with officials also anticipating a significant boost to tourism. Just up the coast New Quay experienced a significant lift after Matthew Rhys Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley descended on the seaside town to film Edge of Love the Dylan Thomas biopic.
