When people do spot her they can’t believe it’s actually Hermione. “I have a more normal life than people expect. When I take public transport people are like ‘That girl looks like the girl from Harry Potter but it can’t be her on the tube’ ” says Watson. In fact most of Watson’s time — a few fashion shows or events aside — is spent shooting the Potter films. She did check out co-star Daniel Radcliffe’s London stage performance in Equus and praises his bravery in taking on the revealing role. Their sixth film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens in July. “We’re a year older than our characters so I feel like the film was about what I was experiencing a year ago which was this kind of awkward playoff between girls and boys and the miscommunications that happen and the different way they think about things” says Watson.

During the event’s opening weekend the “Harry Potter” films will be shown for more than 12 consecutive hours in order of when the films were released starting at 10 a. each day with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and concluding with “Harry Potter and the rder of the Phoenix. “Whether people are seeing these ‘Harry Potter’ films for the first or fifth time we are giving adults and children alike the opportunity to enjoy them once again the way they were meant to be seen on the big screen in a premiere venue like the Ziegfeld Theatre” said Craig Zeltner vice president of film Clearview Cinemas.
