The films which are adapted from the novels of J. Rowling also feature a host of theater stars including Equus co-star Richard Griffiths Ralph Fiennes Maggie Smith Imelda Staunton David Tennant Alan Rickman Fiona Shaw an Michael Gambon. The final book in the series Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will become a two-part film; the first part is set to be released in July 2009 while the second part will begin filming in mid-February shortly after Radcliffe and Griffith’s complete the Broadway run of Equus.
