The film unfortunately lacks both substance and style, its unnecessarily flashy artistic and sinetron-like acting certainly dragging it down. It’s quite disappointing after director Soesantyo’s enjoyable drama about teenage musicians, Dunia Mereka, earlier this year. Zero stars Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix (Fantasy, 138 minutes). This might be a continuation of the sequel’s shift to a more grown-up and gloomy tone, but unfortunately it further reverses the enlightening and playful side of magic and lapses into the usual stereotypes of its darker side. Starring Marsha Wattanapanich, Vittaya Wasukraipaisan, Ratchanoo Bunchootwong.
