Harry Potter and the DeathlyHallows, JK Rowling’s seventh and final instalment of the series, sold moreunits via the online retailer than any other product. It wasfollowed by the DVD of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix in secondplace. The Deathly Hallows book emerged as the biggest selling and mostpositively reviewed product of 2007 on Amazon.

I have three children (8,6,4) and they do not watch or read Harry Potter due to their maturity level. I take seriously the tremendous stewardship that God has given me in raising my children. The real issue here is maturity in Christ (Freedom in Christ) found in Romans 14:1-23. I read my Bible everyday and read it to my children. It is filled with real life examples (Biblical Characters) of murder, adultery, deception, witchcraft, sorcery, sin of every form, etc…
Song of Solomon, David’s adultery and murder of Uriah) due to the maturity level of my kids. I keep them from Harry Potter because they have a hard time discerning fantasy (magic in Harry Potter) from reality. When I feel that my children are mature enough, I will use Harry Potter as an opportunity to answer their questions Biblically and help them develop a Christian worldview in the real world.

But Walters says she is most often recognised as Mrs Overall, the cleaner with the wrinkly tights and coconut macaroons from Victoria Wood’s spoof soap Acorn Antiques. Born in Smethwick, near Birmingham, in 1950, Walters dreamed of becoming an actress but trained as a nurse to please her mother, Mary. The call of the stage was too strong, however, and Walters quit her job to study for a teaching certificate in English and drama at Manchester Polytechnic. “My mother hated me abandoning it,” Walters told the Sunday Times in 2006.
