The early laughs give way to monotonyas the film tries to follow the “Narnia”-like plot. Most of the funcomes early, but there are a couple of extras that make it worthstaying through two-thirds of the end credits. Riffing off (or ripping off) “The Chronicles of Narnia,” “X-Men,”"Harry Potter,” “Snakes on a Plane,” “The Da Vinci Code,” “NachoLibre,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” “Charlie and theChocolate Factory” and other sources, “Epic Movie” lurches from onescene to another. Nothing’s hilarious, but Glover as Wonka mightdeserve a movie of his own.
